Ko Lan or “Coral Island”, is a small island situated 7.5 km west of Pattaya. The Island is around 4km long and 2km wide and is home to approximately one thousand residents. Most of the locals reside in the main village, Naban. There are six beaches on the island that has white sand and clear blue water, notably Hat Ta Waen, Hat Laem Thian and Hat Thong Long, the latter facing coral reefs. Visitors can choose either snorkeling or viewing the coral from glass bottom boats. The terrain is mainly mountainous which is covered in most part with jungle

Ko Lan is accessible by speedboat and ferry. The ferry departs hourly from 10.00 am to 6.30 pm, and is a 45-minute ride costing just 20 baht each way. Speedboats are more expensive, but can reach the island in less than 15 minutes.

The Million-Year Stone Park and Crocodile Farm, which is located approximately 9 kilometers from Pattaya City, has beautifully landscaped grounds with elaborate flower and rock gardens. In addition, the farm has hundreds of crocodiles as well as some rare animals, including albino bears and horses

Furthermore, amusing and thrilling performances have been held regularly, including daily shows of man fighting with adult crocodiles bare-handed, making the Park a famous tourist destination of Thailand, attracting thousands upon thousands of visitors, both Thais and foreigners, every year. Among them are VIPs and groups of student from all over the world who are on field trips to make animal-life and geological studies.

Pattaya Beach is situated alongside the city centre. The half-moon-shaped Pattaya Beach is 4 kilometers long with a road running parallel to the beach. From the mid-section to the southern end of the area, there is a vast array of restaurants, bars, department stores, souvenir stores, as well as other places of entertainment. To the north of the beach are various mini-resorts and hotels in a quieter atmosphere.

There are many good hotels, bungalos, guest houses and many restaurants along Jomtien beach. A lot of tourists come to this area and enjoy the scenery and the beach.
